A chequebook request can be raised by you if you have completed your KYC (Video KYC or Biometric KYC). This request needs to be raised from the Equitas Internet Banking portal (and after your signature is updated with the bank).


To order your cheque book:


  1. Log in to Equitas internet banking
  2. On the home page, click on 'Service Request' and then choose “Cheque Book services”.
  3. Select “Cheque book request”.

Notes:


  1. You will receive one checkbook with 10 cheque leaves. The cheque book will be delivered to your communication address within 7 - 10 working days. To track its delivery, you can contact your Equitas home branch.
  2. If you completed your KYC through Video KYC, then the bank already has your signature (you just need to follow the steps mentioned above). If you have completed biometric KYC, the bank does not have your signature. 


If your signature is not updated with the bank, please follow these steps before raising a request for the cheque: 


  1. Log in to Equitas internet banking
  2. On the home page, click on 'Service Request' and then choose “Video-Assisted Services”.
  3. Select “Signature Change Request”.
  4. Select your account number and the ID proof you will use (Drivers License, Passport, PAN). Once selected, upload a copy of the document (the size of the file should not be more than 1 MB).
  5. Agree to the terms and conditions and select “Proceed”.
  6. You will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number with a link to join a video call with a banking officer who will verify some details.


Your signature will then get updated within 3-4 working days.
